Everyday is a test sometimes. It seems that the turn of every corner reveals another voice saying, "Follow me instead of Him." And somehow along the way, we are convinced that it's okay to follow these other voices "in addition" rather than "instead."
The truth is: either we follow God completely, or we aren't following Him at all. His grace covers even these times of rebellion, but if we are going to love Him with our whole heart and soul, it will require passing each test - rejecting each contradicting voice.
Lord, too often I fail the tests you send my way. Forgive my wanderings. Thank You for giving me the strength to pass a few from time to time. Help me to love You as I should.
