Peace and security... Where do we find them?
I believe that in a fallen world they do not exist. There is nowhere one can go to find them, and any place that promises them is lying. The only truth is that a fallen world will take everything you have.
Lord, I have a friend who believed the lies of the enemy. He believed that the world could satisfy the emptiness in his heart. Now, he is broken from the battle. I am afraid for his very life. Intervene in this situation, Father. Shine Your light of hope. Draw him back to the place of peace and security in Your arms. You are the only Source.
