His Dwelling Place

For the Lord has chosen Zion, he has desired it for his dwelling. Psalm 132:13

Do we understand how amazing it is that the God of the universe has chosen to dwell in the hearts of His people? For centuries, He chose to reside in a temple. Oh, He wasn't confined to the temple. There is no place that He isn't. Even then, He filled the hearts of His chosen, just as He does today. But today - a time of new covenant, His primary dwelling place can no longer be seen on a hill but everywhere His people walk.

Now, we are His dwelling place.

Lord, dwell in me. Clothe me with righteousness and salvation. Send Your provision to satisfy the poor in spirit. Let Your people shine like a temple on a hill called Zion.
