We sometimes think we can hide from the Lord, but He always knows the truth. For He doesn't only see what we do; He sees our hearts. No amount of good on the outside can keep Him from seeing the pride we have on the inside.
Lord, help me to be humble. So much of my life has seemed like an act. I am such an expert at wearing a mask, but I can never fool You. A day cannot pass without You seeing beneath the surface. With Your hands reshape me - with Your love restore me, so I no longer have to hide. Let the world see what You see. Make me holy.
